Mystery Gift Codes – Pokemon Sun and Moon
With Pokemon Ultra Moon & Ultra Sun coming soon, I’ve recently dusted off my copy of Pokemon Moon. Since I beat the game, I’ve been doing a few minor things and stumbled across a collection of Mystery Gifts that have been given out by Nintendo. The Mystery Gift Codes below will unlock Mega Stones for a bunch of Pokemon. Enjoy!
Mystery Gift Codes
As of 2017 Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon are no longer receiving any new Mystery Gift codes for players to use. This is in large part due to more recent titles that have been released and are taking the companies focus. With that being said there are still a few active codes that players can use to receive Mega Stones that can be used in-game. The active stones are:

| MATSUBUSA | Sceptilite, Blazikenite, Swamperite, Cameruptite, and Banettite. |
| POYONG | Gardevoirite, Galladite, Lopunnite, and Diancite. |
Inputting the codes above gives you certain Mega Stones you can then use in your game. These codes will grant you access to certain Pokemon when they are held by Pokemon depending on which copy of the game you own.
What are Mega Stones?
Mega Stones, when held by a Pokemon, trigger the Mega Evolution of that Pokemon. Mega Evolution only lasts during the battle, but is a good way of increasing your pokemon’s powers in the fight. Giving Gallade a Mega Stone allows it to Mega Evolve during battle into Galladite for example. Mega Evolutions can swing the tide of battle and are a nice ace in the hole to use when needed.
How to Input Mystery Gift Codes
To gain access to the Mega Stones that unlock the Pokemon listed above you need to input the codes in-game. To do this follow these steps as they are outlined by the Pokemon Company themselves.
- Log into Pokemon Sun or Pokemon Moon.
- Open Mystery Gift on the main menu.
- Select Receive Gift. Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, and then Yes again to connect to the Internet.
- Enter the code
- Watch as you receive Mega Stones!
- Speak to the deliveryman in any Pokémon Center to pick up your Mega Stones.
- Be sure to save your game!
If you’ve inputted the codes correctly you are then able to pick up your Mega Stones from the deliveryman. Once you have received the Mega Stones you simply need to give them to the proper Pokemon and then use them in battle to trigger there respective forms.

When do these expire
I found you a little to late non of the codes worked but I do lie the fact that you are trying to help others I thin it is awesome. I got the game last year and i am way behind do you have any pointers for me?
