Monster Hunter World x Devil May Cry Collaboration Announced

Monster Hunter World has been a major success for Capcom. The game has sold better than any title they’ve released, and it has managed to penetrate western audiences deeper than previous titles. With so much hype around the game, Capcom has been going above and beyond to deliver hunters a steady amount of new content. One new piece of content that has been announced is a Monster Hunter World x Devil May Cry collaboration. Check out the reveal trailer below.

Monster Hunter World x Devil May Cry Collaboration

The trailer above shows Dante hunting Monsters in Monster Hunter World. In it we get a look at his transforming sword along with his duel pistols. Datne takes part in a number of other Monster Hunter activities including cooking meat and capturing mons. Like previous collaborations (SSFV for example), players will be able to unlock Dante’s weapons and well as wear his clothing.

To unlock the Dante items, Capcom’s blog has revealed that players will need to complete a special event quest. There is currently no releases date set for the Monster Hunter World x Devil May Cry collaboration.

This collaboration comes on the heels of the release of the Devil May Cry HD Collection which is now available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. This collection features Devil May Cry 1 -3, and omits the poorly received fourth game, DmC.

Monster Hunter World is available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 now.
