Kirby and the Forgotten Land Release Date Revealed in New Trailer
The lovable, suck-up everything, Kirby is making his way to Nintendo Switch rather soon. News of the Kirby and the Forgotten Land release date came in a new trailer shared by Nintendo. This trailer features a look at the adventure titles gameplay which features a 3D world and a variety of copy abilities for Kirby to utilize.
New Kirby and the Forgotten Land Trailer
The Kirby and the Forgotten Land trailer appeared on the official Nintendo YouTube channel. This trailer features a look at the copy abilities and co-op mode in the forthcoming Kirby title. The abilities shown feature a slew of different mechanics including a tunneling Kirby, a gun-shooting Ranger Kirby, and a sword wielding Link Kirby.
Alongside the look at the copy abilities we also get a first look at co-op. In Kirby and the Forgotten Land co-op partners can play as a character named Bandana Waddle Dee. This character can help Kirby on his adventure by providing additional combat support using his spear.
Besides the mechanic reveal, we also got a nice look at the hub area called Waddle Dee Town. This hub is home to a variety of buildings, npcs, and minigames to take part in. Some of the minigames shown included fishing and serving snacks to locales at the hub area cafe.
At the end of the trailer the release date for Kirby and the Forgotten Land was shown. Players can get their hands on Kirby’s new adventure on March 25, 2022. The title retails for $59.99 USD and is available on the Nintendo Switch. The game’s file size is 5.8 GB and you can pre-order now.
