How to Get Diablo II: Resurrected Beta Key from Twitch

The beta for Activision-Blizzard’s Diablo II: Resurrected is live now and fans of the game are jumping into the new experience. Many players want to try out the game for themselves, but didn’t get into the event. Thankfully there is a workaround of sorts that is available for a single day. IMPORTANT: Keep in mind beta key drops are only available from 1 PM ET on August 13 – 1 PM ET August 14th.

Diablo II: Resurrected Beta Key Twitch Drops

Connect to Twitch.

To get a beta key make your way over to the Amazon owned Twitch streaming platform. On this service make an account. Once you have an account link your and Twitch accounts together. This can be done under Settings > Connections > Blizzard

Once you’ve linked the accounts together you can earn your beta key. To earn a key watch any streamer that is playing Diablo II: Resurrected. You need to watch a total of 2.5 hours of Diablo 2: Resurrected streams to secure the key. This can be done over the 24 hours and across multiple streamers.

You can track your progress from the chat drop-down menu on Twitch. You will see a prompt for Twitch drops for D2R. Push the arrow and a dropdown appears that will show you the % you ‘ve viewed so far.

After you get the key drop you can then download the PC beta version from There are no console key codes available during the drop. If you wish to play on console you need to preorder the game. Diablo 2: Resurrected is slated to release on PC and Consoles September 23rd.
