Overall the majority of critics are loving this sequel. A major compliment they are giving is that it is the first true PlayStation 5 experience fans have been waiting for. Alongside this praise they are also complimenting the advancements of gameplay mechanics that build on the previous title.
Some complaints I’ve seen are that the game is a bit buggy, suffering from pop-in. Also it is not the most optimized for PlayStation 4 which is a shame given the lack of PlayStation 5’s available for sale.
