The Genshin Impact 1.5 Update will release on April 28th. Prior to the update release the game will be undergoing some background maintenance on April 28th at 06:00 (UTC+8) that will take the game offline for 5 hours. Due to the downtime (the game will not be accessible) players that are Adventure Rank 5 and above will receive 300x Primogems through the in-game mail system. Once the maintenance is complete players will need to update their client to access the new content.

New content in Update 1.5 includes a new Cryo Claymore wielding character named Eula, a new housing system thanks to the Serenitea Pot, new quests, and more to discover. The housing system is easily the biggest addition as it allows players to create their own living spaces. These spaces can be furnished how the players wish and can be visited by other players. It is an interesting addition that will add a lot of playtime for those that like this sort of thing.
