Fallout 4: Far Harbor is Coming this Month

Bethesda’s Fallout 4 has had a couple DLC releases so far this year, but the ‘big’ one is coming this month. A new trailer dropped today and it looks good. Bethesda is touting this expansion as huge, saying that Far Harbor has the largest land mass of any Bethesda created DLC. This is exciting as the last two updates for Fallout 4 have been somewhat mediocre. The add on is described as

“… a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost?”

As with other large Bethesda expansions, players can expect new faction quests, settlements, creatures and dungeons with new higher-level armor and weapons. Check the official video below.

Far Harbor is out May 19.

I sure hope this is better (I’m confident it will be) as the previous DLCs were so poorly received I haven’t even launched up FO4 to try them.
