Capcom Showcase 2022 Announcements Rundown

The non-E3 week of game events continues to roll along with Capcom holding their showcase today. This event features a look at a variety of titles Capcom will be releasing in the future. Many of the title shown were previous revealed, but this event featured a closer look at them. Check out the complete Capcom Showcase 2022 announcements rundown below.

Everything Announced During Capcom Showcase 2022

The livestream event took place at 3pm PT. It was hosted on Capcom’s Twitch and YouTube channels. The event lasted a total of 35 minutes and featured a look at major titles and some more minor titles from Capcom. The full list of Capcom Showcase 2022 games was as follows:

  • Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion gameplay trailer – June 30, 2022 (Nintendo Switch, PC).
    • Jungle locale overview.
    • Espinaa, Gore Magala, and new crab monsters.
    • Demo of the Jungle is available June 14, 2022.
    • Free title updates trailer. First title update will introduce Lucent Nargacuga and new location called Forlorn Arena.
  • Street Fighter 6 short gameplay with commentary – 2023 (Consoles, PC).
  • Capcom Fighting Collection trailer – June 24, 2022 (Consoles, PC).
  • Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium trailer – July 22, 2022.
  • Exoprimal gameplay trailer – 2023 (Consoles, PC).
    • Closed network test will be held. Sign up open today.
  • Dragon’s Dogma 10 years celebration video.
  • Resident Evil: Village Winter’s Expansion – October 28th, 2022 (PlayStation, PC).
    • Shadows of Rose DLC trailers.
    • The Mercenaries content trailer.
    • Third-person mode.
    • RE:Verse – super brief.
    • Mac and PS VR2 versions of Village are coming.
  • Resident Evil 4 Remake old trailer – March 24, 2023 (Consoles, PC).
    • Developers talked about the game’s story.
    • Short gameplay trailer showing the game’s opening
  • Resident Evil 7, 2 Remake, 3 Remake next-gen update trailers – Out now.

The obviously big title of the event was the Resident Evil 4 Remake. The stream featured a nice chunk of gameplay footage showing off the new look and design decisions around the remake.
